July’s spotlight is on Transfiguring Adoption. If you’ve been to a big fandom convention in the last several years, you may well have seen a Transfiguring Adoption booth. They do some amazing work helping foster and adoption families navigate the emotional complications that come with those unique relationships. They have a little bit of everything, from workshops to lists of books and movies that families can share. It is an incredibly cool and thoughtful way to expand on Harry’s story. [link]

LeakyCon is back from July 5-7 in Portland, OR. They’ll have a variety of wizard rock related events, including a panel on our history and jam sessions. [link]

July 12-14 Chattanooga, TN will be hosting Literary Ink. Your hostwitch will be there, sharing the good word of wrock, and so will Dream Quaffle! [link]

Buenos Aires, Argentina is hosting Magic Meeting July 19-21, complete with a formal dance and cosplay contest. [link]

Neville’s Diary will be performing on July 27 in Middlebury, IN at a very fun-sounding library event. [link]

If you can’t make it to the Neville’s Diary show becayse you’re in Coraopolist, PA that weekend, go check out Dream Quaffle at Confluence! [link]

If you’ve been longing to see Puffs live, you’re in luck! July 26-28 it’s being performed in West Plains, MO. [link]

Also that weekend is the “Harry Potter’s Birthday Celebration” in Lake Orion, MI has promised they’ll be playing wizard rock, so it’ll be a wrocking good time. [link]

A private clothing-optional resort in Sparta, TN is having a “Harry Potter Hotties” weekend, if that’s your kind of thing. [link]

And of course, you still have time to get something in to the annual Wizard Rock Sampler! If you’re not musical, how about a poem? [link]

The Cruciatus Curse released “A Wizard Rock Guide to Harry Potter, Part One.”
