Episode 40: The Twelve Days of Wizard Christmas

Hello magical friends, and welcome to episode 40 of WZRD Radio. Also, happy Hanukah to everyone lighting the hanukiyah tonight.
I’m your hostwitch Bess, and I’m looking forward to latkes with the Slytherspouse as soon as I finish recording this.
This may be the last episode of the year, but it’s not the last you’ll hear from me! Your hostwitch is going to be spreading the holiday wrock cheer over on Puffcast on the 22nd, so join me there for some musical fun and games.

Here’s Muggle Mike to kick off the season, with the traditional performance of “A Very Severus Christmas.”

That was Muggle Mike with “A Very Severus Christmas” [lyrics], “A Gift for Lucius” by Draco and the Malfoys, and Harry and the Potters singing “Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.”

The final wandoscope of 2021 is for holly wand carriers.

There’s a saying, “when his wand’s oak and hers is holly, then to marry would be folly.” It doesn’t have anything to do with anything, holly wand, but I thought it was interesting. You also have the same wand wood as Harry Potter, but you probably already knew that. The important things, holly wand, are that you are are quick to anger, protective, and a little impulsive. You also have a bad habit of attracting quests, whether literal or spiritual. That makes this month a good time for you to pause and take stock of what you’ve achieved already. It’s good to be always striving, but the achievement is meaningless without taking it into yourself. So take a pause, figure out what shape you want you and your life to be, and then plunge back into your next perilous adventure.

Next up we have The Veelas, with “Molly’s Carol.”

That was “Molly’s Carol” by The Veelas [lyrics], “Happy Christmas” by the Lovegoods [lyrics], and “Yule Ball Night” by Shauna Burns.
