Hello magical friends, and especially my newest patron Lillian, without whom I couldn’t do these interviews. I’m your hostwitch Bess and I’m incredibly excited for this one, magical friends. It’s RiddleTM!
Before that, however, here’s some awesome music.
First up is Les Kids des Etoiles and “Dernière année à Poudlard.”
Hello magical friends, and welcome to WZRD’s 4th anniversary bonus episode! I’m your hostwitch Bess, and this interview is really just a taster for the real special. To find it, make your way over to the Why Can’t We Be Wizards feed and listen to our extraordinary journey. I’ll also include a link in the show notes and transcript here. [link]
While you go find that, here’s our first set of songs. First up is “Save Ginny Weasley” by Harry and the Potters.
Hello magical friends, and welcome to episode 83 of WZRD Radio! I’m your hostwitch Bess and today my guest is someone that Harry really ought to be talking to. That’s right, I’m talking with the Hogwarts Therapist.
But all good therapy session start with a little music, right?
Hello magical friends, especially my wonderful patrons who make these interviews possible. I’m your hostwitch Bess and today I’m talking with a very cool trio– Potterwatch!
We had so much to talk about, so let’s dive right into the music!
This is “I’m A Puff and I’m Staying” by Dream Quaffle.
Hello magical friends, and welcome to episode 74 of WZRD Radio! I’m your hostwitch Bess and before we get to the music, I want to point you to a petition.
Other folks, including the Goblet of Wine podcast, have said it better, but Harry Potter, and the Harry Potter fandom, are rapidly becoming synonymous with transphobia, anti-Semitism, and bigotry thanks to Rowling and the creators of Hogwarts Legacy. The fact that HBO think that that is a good platform for a new TV show is alarming.
It’s up to us to let people know this is not what the fandom is about, which is why I’m a proud signatory of the HP Fans Against Transphobia petition, asking HBO to reconsider. I’ve put the link in the show notes, and I hope you’ll join me. Until the Harry Potter franchise is no longer used to fund hatred, supporting new projects just isn’t worth the cost. [link]
I’m sorry I’m starting us off on such a grim note, but fandom joy comes with responsibilities and I’m not willing to look away.
At last, here’s the music. First up is “Patronus for the Day” by Penelope Clearwater Revival.
Hello magical friends, and welcome to this year’s birthday bonus of WZRD Radio! I’m your hostwitch Bess and I hope you’re all ready for this epic episode! TC from Pottership and I talk about our unpopular Harry Potter opinions. Personally, I had a blast and I hope you do too.
We’re going to dive right into it, after the music.
Hello magical friends, especially Lan and John, WZRD’s newest patrons, whose support lets me do these interview episodes!
I’m your hostwitch Bess and today I got to have a lovely chat with someone who’s seen the whole spectrum of wizard rock—and apparently made a fair bit of it!
Today’s guest is Patrick of The Hinky Punks.
Before we dig into the history of the Hinky Punks, I’ve curated a lovely collection of music for you, beginning with “Harry Potter’s Got A Firebolt” By Emeric Switch.
Hello magical friends, and welcome to episode 65 of WZRD Radio. I’m your hostwitch Bess and we’re kicking off this year with an extra special guest: Lauren Fairweather! They are such a joy; I’m so glad they agreed to talk with me.
I can’t wait to share our conversation with you. First, however, it’s music time.
