Ep 13: Ten Galleons

Hello magical friends and welcome to episode thirteen of WZRD Radio. I’m your hostwitch Bess and I hope you’re having a particularly good day. If you’re not, I hope this is the pivot point that turns it all around.

Let’s get this music show started! First up we have “Invincible” by The Lovegoods.

That was “Invincible” by the Lovegoods [lyrics], “Fly, Harry, Fly” by Ollivander, “Quidditch Witch” by Swish & Flick [lyrics], and “Segra eller dö!” by The Swedish Shortsnouts.

For this month’s wandoscope, we’re diving into the month ahead for Blackthorn wand owners.

Legend has it that Sir Cadogan of the Round Table carried a blackthorn wand. Remember the old saying “take Cadogan’s pony.” You’re going to need that ability to make the best of a bad situation this month.

The world might feel dark and hopeless just now and to be honest, there’s a lot going on in your life and in the wider world that could completely overwhelm anyone. You might even have a strong temptation to give in and let yourself be swept away.

Blackthorn wands choose warriors as their person, and once you pass through a hardship together you come out stronger and more resilient. October might be a real hardship this year, but you’re not going through it alone. Find your support network, maybe ask someone like a coral core or a kelpie hair, someone who’s been where you are, and don’t give up.

Next up is “Just Like Viktor Krum” by The Honeyduke’s Cellar Gang.

That was “Just Like Viktor Krum” by the Honeyduke’s Cellar Gang, Alex Boyd with “Hit the Pitch,” “Quidditch Tomorrow” by The Cho Chang Gang, and “Pretty Good at Quidditch” by Dots and Lines [lyrics].

And now for October’s Harry Potter and wizard rock events.
